What the service does
ManageCV lets you write, arrange, preview and download CVs and cover letters using our designs, and optionally share a CV by link. Some features, such as importing an existing CV and polishing wording, are assisted by an external AI provider and always leave the final wording to you.
Your account
- Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Use accurate contact details so password resets and access notices reach you.
- One account per person. Do not share an account to work around plan limits.
Plans, allowances and payment
- Writing, editing and previewing are free. A plan is needed to download a PDF or publish a share link.
- Each plan states how many CVs you can keep. If you reach the limit, delete a CV or move to a plan that includes more.
- Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay, and payment is completed on our payment provider’s secure page.
- Nothing renews automatically. Monthly and yearly access ends on its date unless you buy again; a single-CV purchase applies to the CV you choose.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Where a payment is refunded, the access it granted is withdrawn.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, display it back to you, render it into a PDF and, where you ask for it, publish it at a share link. You are responsible for making sure your CV is truthful and that you have the right to use anything you upload, including photos.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, its server, other accounts or connected systems.
- Do not scrape, mirror or bulk-download the template library or other content.
- Do not upload unlawful material, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Do not use the service in a way that disrupts it for other people, including automated bulk requests.
Intellectual property
The ManageCV name, brand, written content, template designs and layout belong to us and are protected by applicable law. You may use the designs for your own CVs and cover letters, but you may not resell, redistribute or rebuild them as a competing product without written permission.
Template previews
Template previews are shown for evaluation. Any names, roles or details visible inside a preview are illustrative examples and do not describe real people.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it, including individual templates or features. Keep your own copy of any CV that matters to you by downloading it.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, attempts to abuse payments, or puts the service or other people at risk.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the service, from reliance on information published on it, or from any hiring outcome.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product develops. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
