ManageCV is built so that people can read it, navigate it and act on it regardless of how they browse. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA, on the public pages and inside the CV builder.
What is in place
- Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can announce structure correctly.
- Full keyboard navigation, including the main menu, the builder’s section rail and section reordering, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- A skip link to the main content at the top of every page.
- Forms with real labels, described errors and save state announced as it changes.
- Text and interface colours checked against AA contrast ratios.
- Descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Reduced-motion support, so animation is removed when your system asks for it.
- Layouts that reflow to small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
Template previews and the CV preview show a page design at a reduced size. We provide descriptive text alongside each template, and every field remains editable as ordinary text, but a scaled preview is harder to read than the form itself.
Reporting a barrier
If something here is difficult or impossible to use, tell us what page you were on and what happened, and we will investigate. Accessibility feedback is treated as a defect, not a suggestion.
